India: Need legal advice in a highly toxic matrimonial dispute involving cheating, abuse allegations, threats, harassment, and financial demands.

Posting this anonymously about a family situation. (Names have been changed for privacy.) ‼️

Background:

Rohit and Neha have been married for around 10–15 years (exact timeline unclear). They have two children. 👶🏻

From the very beginning of the marriage, Neha had issues adjusting despite Rohit having a large, well-built home in a rural area with multiple rooms and a stable setup. She complained about not having AC, not having a certain lifestyle, and wanting things like fruits and dry fruits daily. Rohit arranged these things for her after marriage.

Neha also did not participate in household work at all. All responsibilities were handled by Rohit’s elderly mother. She would spend hours (sometimes up to 3 hours) getting ready daily without contributing to the household.

There were also early signs of questionable behavior. For example, Neha once made a statement in a family conversation about a man from her hometown being so attractive that any woman would remove her clothes just by looking at him. This raised concerns about her mindset and character among family members.

The marriage involved frequent fights from early on.

Major incident (alleged cheating):
