I have LifeSafer thinking about switching back to Intoxalock- LifeSafer is so sensitive to food??

I have not had a sip of alcohol in about 3 years . Honestly. I didn't drive for year had intox while I was suspended but would drive around with my boyfriend and blow a lot in it as needed . Neither one of us ever had to worry about eating ... now with LifeSafer I keep getting violations from food or drinks. And everyone acting like it wouldn't fail me from that. But it does like I avoid donuts , vanilla coffee, mouthwash etc but it keeps screwing me over and idk what to do! Has anyone had similar issues ? I think Intoxalock is the only other option location wise .
