Were the books of enoch ever revised or changed?

Im asking this because I often see a lot of backlash on the books due to conflicts with other scriptures. Many saying they’re pseudo or not factual but I find the books to be rather fascinating and wonder if part of the reason they aren’t accepted is because they speak of things man doesn’t understand
