Benefect (Decon 30) and mold on fiberglass insulation in attic

I have black mold growing on the underside of the roof in the attic. There is also localized darkening on top of the pink fiberglass insulation caused by black mold spores. I am getting quotes from mold removal specialists to remedy the problem and also doing my own research because I am getting conflicting information from some of these guys.

I pretty much know what needs to be done to kill and clean/bleach the black mold from the wood surfaces. But my other concern is whether fogging/misting with Benefect (aka Decon 30) will kill the spores in the insulation so that I don't have to remove and replace it (trying to save money here).

My feeling is, it most likely will if the fogging is thorough enough. But I would like to hear from the people in the know.
