Daycare nap
For different reasons my almost 19mo has only been to daycare for a couple hours in the morning.
Tomorrow I am seeing her teacher to talk about how we are going to extend her scheadule and how we are going to address her napping there, and honestly I Don’t know!
At night she falls asleep with a bottle, and during the day we use the pram a lot or we just hold her/ lay down in bed with her. But at daycare she won’t take a bottle and will not be held. She gets VERY upset if they try.
When she has stayed for a nap they ended up putting her in the bouncy chair (which she HATES). And she cried herself to sleep.
I partly understand why they made that choice but of course I don’t like that the whole thing is so abrupt.
PS: Even though i‘ve had lots of doubts about separation, I really love our daycare and the girls there are really caring and empathetic.
Any thoughts??
