Dark spot showed up on imaging in my left eye. / congenital glaucoma patient here
Hi everyone,
I have congenital glaucoma,
Today during a routine check, my doctor noticed something dark on imaging in my left eye(it looked like a black spot, maybe cloud-shaped or V-shaped) She asked if I’d seen flashes; I remembered a tiny flash in the corner once, so I said yes. She ordered an OCT and a visual field test (V3) to investigate.
I haven’t had any sudden vision loss or big changes , just the spot on the imaging. I’m trying to understand what this could mean: could it be something serious in the retina, a cataract, or just a floater?
Has anyone with congenital glaucoma seen something like this in their “better” eye? What were your outcomes after OCT/V3?
