Factor ONE vs Ostro VAM v2

I’m in the very lucky position of choosing my next bike after riding an Ostro VAM V1, and I’m a bit torn between going for another Ostro or stepping into the new Factor ONE.

On one side, the ONE is obviously the latest and greatest, and I like the idea of something a bit more special and different. On the other hand, I spend a lot of time on longer rides in the mountains, so climbing feel, comfort, and weight still matter quite a bit to me, even though I also enjoy fast flats and descents.

The Ostro has been an amazing do-it-all bike for me, which makes it the safe choice. But at the same time, it’s hard to justify going for essentially the same platform again knowing it’s been around for a couple of years and could get updated. I’m also really curious about the more progressive fit of the ONE.

Curious to hear from anyone who has ridden both, or has experience with either, especially in mixed terrain with a lot of climbing.

Thanks!
