IUI scheduled for 04/11/2026

Hi everyone! Looking for insight/experiences with my current IUI cycle (and honestly hoping for two follicles🤞).

I’m 42 and currently doing a medicated cycle with Letrozole + Clomid + hCG trigger.

Here’s my timeline and details:

- Baseline (CD3): AFC ~10

- One early follicle measured around ~10 mm on right ovary

- Started Letrozole 5 mg + Clomid 50 mg CD3–7

Monitoring + hormones (Mira):

- Estrogen (E3G) rose to ~126, then dipped to ~60–100 range

- LH stayed low (2–5 range), no natural surge

- PdG stayed low (no ovulation yet)

Ultrasound on CD10 (April 8):

- Left ovary:

- 1 dominant follicle ~16.6 mm

- 2 smaller follicles ~9–11 mm

- Right ovary: early follicle from baseline no longer seen

- Lining: ~6.1 mm

Plan:

- Trigger (hCG) April 9 at 9:30 PM

- IUI scheduled April 11 at 9:30 AM (~36 hours later)

From what I understand:

- Lead follicle should be ~18–20 mm at trigger

- Smaller follicle may be ~14–16 mm by ovulation (borderline?)

Questions:

1. Has anyone had success (especially twins) with 1 mature + 1 borderline follicle?

2. Do you think the smaller follicle has a real chance of catching up after trigger?

3. Any success stories with lining around ~6 mm on Clomid?

This will be my 4th cycle. 3rd consecutive.
