Recs for all access local adventures?
I am looking for personal recommendations, for mobility cart friendly trails and/or outdoor adventures around PDX. Yes, I have looked at the websites, and there are many options that seem like fun... but IME a good portion of All Access Trails are not worth the effort, regularly maintained, or much more than a forested loop back to the parking lot. I'm interested in opinions or recs from people with alternate abilities (or their travel mates) that have found the good spots to visit/camp! Me and my BFF love the PNW, and I'm not gunna let something like a mobility cart stop our exploration. I'd appreciate any, "don't bother," location advice too. It's never fun to plan, build excitement, make the trip, take 20 minutes to unload and prep for the hike ... and then, wah waah, 6 minutes later the paved trail has ended on the other side of the parking lot! No worries, while the wheeled visiter gets to sit in the shade alone, their walking companions can enjoy the extended trail opening up to a beautiful blah blah blah... I'm not trying to leave my BFF in the bushes to see the thing we both wanna see! So please Portland, give me a few ideas (even the most basic- it's all new to us) of where to go, so my BFF has the motivation to keep living her life, and discovering adventures with a nEw normal. TIA
