How did Nia and Danny end up on this show?

Nia and Danny met in church. They have 4 kids already. They homeschool. They are total religious trad people. How on earth did they end up on the trashiest show on bravo? It’s so funny to see the juxtaposition of VPR people with church people. Nia and Kristen are bffs? Has Nia met Kristen? I love Kristen but she is a progressive, free spirited wild woman. She’s the opposite of trad wife (thank goodness).
