Ketamine as a sober person

howdy, first time here so bear with me

I'm about to be six months sober off the sauce tomorrow, and about three + months sober off marijuana. I am also insanely fucking depressed. it's better than it was when I was constantly fucked up, but it's still pretty unbearable. I have a consultation with the nearest ketamine clinic (an hour away from me) on Tuesday.

I am experiencing some trepidation about what a ketamine "high" will feel like. weed highs made me anxious, cripplingly self-aware both mentally and physically, and prone of myopic ruminations and spirals. I was not a heavy user, averaged about 2-5mg, with a max of 10mg at the height of my abuse.

I think I'm most curious about how ketamine compares to marijuana. if anyone has any insight, please share.
