receipt after filing EB1A petition

Hi folks,

My lawyer sent me a receipt number, stating it was an e-receipt. We filed the petition by mail (fedex, not electronically), sent it to an address in Arizona. How is it possible that we received an e-receipt? I thought receipts arrive by physical mail too for petitions sent physically.
