New fan aquired
I've enjoyed a few minor league games over the years, in person, from the AA farm Pensacola Blue Wahoos. If you ever have the chance, it really is a beautiful stadium right there on the water. For me, I like the energy of an in-person event. I'm there more for the friends, people, fresh air, experience, and a little bit of ballgame on the side.
I figured I would watch the big boys this season. I'm a total newbie to most everything baseball. I never really grew up with it. This area of Florida is in the Braves market so we're blacked out from the Florida teams. A crying shame. I'm forced to watch only Geogia baseball? Ug.
And nothing wrong with the Braves, but I saw too many people jump on the fan-wagon, over the years, only when they win. Fair weather fans.
Miami has the best logo anyway. LOL (I little bit of a joke there for ya'll over the old Florida logo). And, well, who doesn't love an underdog sometimes? Well, I've been watching a few games and, hey, these guys are pretty good! I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.
