Cross-play version synced?

Tried playing the game with my brother last night after seeing the update (he's on xbox, i'm on PC), but it said the versions of the game were not compatible, so we could not play.

Just wondering if the Xeno update has been rolled out by microsoft yet.

If not, how long does such a thing usually take?
