Hey all! I wanted to share my current Red Hood / Arkham Knight / Comic setup. It’s still very much a WIP, but I’m really happy with how it’s coming together so far. I tried to organize my context below. I know it's a long read but I'm really bad at over describing explanations and questions. There's a TLDR at the very end.

**Figures I’m still hunting for:**

\- Frostbite Red Hood

\- Brown coat DC Direct Red Hood

\- Arkham Knight DC Collectible (to pair with AK Red Hood at the top)

\- Yamaguchi Revoltech Arkham Knight / Red Hood (I’m scared I’ll buy a dupe)

\- Black & White accent New 52 Red Hood (long shot but I’m trying…)

**Shelf setup question:**
My TP's and Misc books are all on the built-in shelf because it feels the most sturdy (all of them together are heavy...looking at you Arkham Knight TP) I’m concerned they’ll break a movable shelf (I know that probably sounds stupid, but I’m paranoid) and putting them on the very bottom feels wrong.

I’ve been debating keeping all books together (it feels safe to me but limits display options for my figures) vs. maybe splitting with figures. Would it look weird to mix books + figures across shelves? My main problem with doing that would be that some figures are too tall to fit with the books and I’ll run into even more issues with shelf space.

**Comic issue storage:**
Right now my individual issues are just on the bottom shelf because…I have no idea what I’m doing yet. I don't even have room for my yellow box. I’m new to comic collecting....how do you all store them safely and still display them nicely? Are the boxes I'm using correct? The last three images are all my comics. I currently have them in those boxes and divided with spacers based on series (please ignore the middle box, it's not been organized yet and the red and black divider packs are there because I'm going to go back and change everything to black but use red for all my RH-centric runs, I know it all looks bad right now).

I do have 10 wall frames coming, 5 for Red Hood / AK covers and 5 for Beast World + White Fox. Images 6 through 9 show the wall space and the comics. I was planning to do two vertical rows on each side of the shelf, but I'll need to rearrange furniture to make it work (slide my dresser down and also the bookshelf itself over to the left a little more) and yeah I know White Fox is obviously not RD related, but she's my girl and I think she won’t look so out of place with the two Beast World covers.

Also, please ignore Spyro, Ghost, and Cheshire Cat. They belong on a different shelf with my JP/JW dinos and Ninetales merch but I ran out of room with that bookshelf too....and Black Coat DC Direct RH is currently sitting sideways next to my books because he’s so tall…and I ran out of space…again…

At this point I know the answer is probably to get bigger shelves but I just bought these IKEA shelves along with my dresser and desk setup after saving for a long time, so I’m trying to make them work.

**Figure protection question:**
Does anyone know of protectors for non-standard figure sizes that are somewhat the same height as them and not super tall?

**Specifically for:**

\- smaller figures (Jaybin & DC Direct)

\- taller DC Collectibles

\- vehicles like the dumb bike

I’ve looked but can’t find good fits and after what happened to my first ever Jumbo Rexy pop, I’m terrified to not have protectors. Is that something you have to get custom made to fit? Is that even a thing people do?

**Last question:**
Does anyone know if I'm missing anything that's AK Jason or AK Red Hood related that I didn't mention at the top? I found a shirt with him on it last week and no one should be as excited about a t-shirt as I was. There's so little merch with him so if I'm missing something, please let me know.

I’d love any feedback or suggestions for improving my setup. I’m still pretty new to collecting/displaying comics and figures, so please be kind. Also, I know Funko Pops aren’t everyone’s thing, but I love mine so please don't bite my head off over them.

And sorry if the lighting/glare on the pics isn't perfect, I tried my best...

**TLDR: Looking for layout ideas, comic storage tips, and figure protector recommendations.**
