How do I feel better about this?

Discussion

i'm a college student looking to major in health, and as a result i've been learning a lot regarding medicine, anatomy, etc.

however, i've been having this issue recently where reading too extensively about male and female anatomy just sends me into a really dark place. i'm usually not dysphoric, thanks to passing really well, but my mind keeps associating myself with everything i learn about "females". it doesn't help that most of our texts don't use gender neutral language either when it comes to genitalia.

overall, i'm just really struggling to get through my coursework as i feel like it's giving me some really bad dysphoric thoughts. i don't know how to grapple with my daily life as a man vs my anatomy constantly being equated down to a woman's. it makes me feel really gross and i wish i could just do my work without it triggering me.
