a year old charge added today

i took an uber today and when i got home i saw 2 charges. one for today and one for last june. i logged in on my pc and reviewed the year old charge and i shows that the ride was made and cancelled right away. that was my first uber and i pressed the wrong button. i never recieved a notification about a payment and was not charged until today. uber help says it is too old to be reviewed, but not too old to be charged apparently. no phone support. any other options or do i have to eat it?
