Needing help

Hello, my 9 year old male is a very sweet and needy boy, but lately he has started the habit of scratching at our bedroom door (to the point it shakes it) to be let outside at like 3am. Before we even get up properly he runs away from the door. If he hasn’t been let out, he will come back and continue going.

I obviously don’t want to let him outside, especially at night.

I’m 28 weeks pregnant and am starting to stress that he’s going to do this when she’s here and wake us all up throughout the night. I’m already struggling to get back to sleep and it’s making me quite angry as I’m still working full time.

Any advice would be great please
