Can I get my deposit for accommodation back in full if I find somewhere else before move in date sept 2026?

Got offered on campus for next year, however my friends and I have been looking at another place which is almost 400€ a month cheaper. The only problem is, we will not know if we have got it or not until May. I only have a week to decide, and it’s a risky decision, as on campus is guaranteed, however there is a good chance that we could get this cheaper place. It would be ideal if I could pay the deposit and hopefully be able to cancel it so I can move in to the other place if we get it.
