Finally got off 7OH after being stuck for way too long thanks to SR17. Sharing my experience to help others šŸ«¶šŸ¼

Hi all! I’ve been debating posting this because I’ve lurked here for months reading everyone else’s stories while feeling completely stuck… but I told myself if I ever got out I’d come back and say something to try to hopefully help someone else who was feeling how I was!

So here’s my story! For reference, I’m 29F from Nevada and I was using 7OH every single day. What started as ā€œjust trying itā€ for fun turned into me structuring literally my entire day around not going into withdrawal. It wasn’t even about getting high anymore. It was literally just trying to feel… normal. The worst part for me wasn’t even physical (though that sucked real bad too šŸ˜…). The worst part of it was the mental spiral. The anxiety, the weird empty/depressed feeling, that ā€œI can’t do life like thisā€ panic. I’d wake up already dreading the day. Trying to get through work was absolute hell.

I tried tapering more times than I can count. I’d do okay for like… maybe day or two? If that. Then the restlessness and anxiety would hit and I’d be right back to where I started. It felt like a never ending cycle I’d never be able to escape.

I found SR17 here on Reddit while I was doom scrolling one night honestly just trying to find literally anything that might help. Desperate for something to help me. I was incredibly skeptical (still am tbh about anything in this space but anything is better than withdrawals at this point).

What I noticed most from SR17:

- The withdrawals didn’t feel like they were swallowing me whole. They were still there just… quieter? For lack of a better word.

- That constant ā€œI need to take something RIGHT NOWā€ feeling didn’t feel so constant anymore

- My anxiety didn’t spike as hard, which was hugeee for me because that’s what always broke me before.

- I could actually get a little sleep instead of just laying there feeling miserable and going to work the next day with 0 sleep

Around like day 5 or so I realized I wasn’t obsessing over 7OH 24/7 anymore. That was a really weird (but good) feeling.

Right now I’m off it and I feel like myself again in a way I didn’t think I would ever again. My mood is leveling out, I don’t wake up in panic mode, and I don’t feel chained to anymore.

If you’re reading this and you’re stuck in that cycle… I genuinely get it. It’s exhausting and kind of isolating because people don’t really understand how deep it gets.

I’m not here to tell anyone what they should or shouldn’t do. Just sharing what helped me get unstuck.

You’re not broken. This stuff just hooks you in a way that’s hard to explain unless you’ve been there.

If anyone has questions I’m more than happy to answer what I can šŸ«¶šŸ¼ For transparency, the SR17 I used was from monstersr.com.
