How would you react if platforms like reddit or any other social media officially started age verification?

Hey everyone,

I see from time to time talks about social media platforms implementing age verification in the way of uploading your ID in order to use their apps and services.

Do you think this would cause a mass of people to give up social media altogether or is it just another way for these companies to gather more information on you than they already have?

id like to know your thoughts and if you have some insight on this id like to hear what you have to say on how it all works.

thanks for reading!
