[Routine Help] Spring skincare reset - getting rid of dry winter skin

Routine Help

Anyone else feel like their skin is still stuck in winter even though the weather’s changing?

This is something that comes up a lot this time of year. The weather shifts, but the skin barrier doesn’t immediately bounce back, so skin can still look dull, tight, or a little rough.

The instinct is usually to exfoliate more, but most of the time it ends up being more of a hydration issue than buildup.

What tends to work better is pulling back a bit and focusing on barrier support:

-Heavier moisturizer at night

-Less frequent acids

-letting things rebalance instead of trying to “fix” it quickly

Also, a good time to stay consistent with sunscreen again and bring antioxidants like vitamin C back into the morning routine as UV exposure starts to increase.

Does your skin usually catch up on its own, or do you have to adjust your routine this time of year?
