I think im interested

Currently driving a 2011 ford explorer that ive put 290,000 Miles on. Tired of paying a ton at the pump and the car is starting to fall apart and the repairs are going to cost more than its worth.

So, if I were to walk into a dealership and buy a brand new one- What are the must haves? Im kinda interested in the plug in hybrid stuff but the website isn't clear on which trim that is.

Also what's long term ownership of one of these look like as far as repairs and upkeep? And the Blue LED trim, can you change the color?
