Can someone tell me more about blocking someone and all of the specifics?
So on Twitter I recently befriended aomeone and it turns out from a few dms that they’re VERY weird.
I would love to block them and just forget this whole situation ever happened but I would love for someone to explain the EXACT specifics, and what blocking them will mean besides “you can’t see their account.”
I will be referring to them as person X.
For example:
-
We have a lot of mutual followers, will I still see person X’s replies on our mutuals tweets? Or will they be hidden?
-
Person X has my notifications turned on, will that factor into anything?
-
Is there a workaround for blocking? I assume you can make a new account, but besides that.
I can’t think of a good example, but just wondering if there are other ways to get in contact or find someone’s account after blocking.
- Finally (definitely not the best place to ask), but I’d love a little reassurance that I’m doing the right thing. I normally never block people and I feel so awful about it, but I’m very uncomfortable and this is not something I want to have a huge discussion about. I would like to just get rid of this person and move on.
If there is anything else I should know about blocking, please let me know.
Thank you so much!
