My pup has a wonderful mix of 12 breeds. Majority Akita x Bully type with couple of 1% in there (see other posts for full breakdown).

He’s currently 20 weeks and 19.1KG🤯.

We have a schedule for his days to include physical exercise/mental workouts and naps etc.

Plan is:

Mornings - wee time, breakfast given (raw) in a slow feeder as he’s a bit fast with eating. Usually naps after a few games of tug.

Afternoon walk (1-1:30hr) no off lead but long line (10M) with recall training. He will never be off lead given his Akita breed except in secure dog fields. Just better safe than sorry for me. Comes home, 10 minutes of more training then he spends most of his time napping.

Evening, we pop his raw on a lick mat in the afternoon and put it in the freezer. Take him for an evening walk of 30-40minutes some long lead some short. Recall training etc as before but most of the time we let him have a run around through the long grass etc. Get him home and give him his frozen lick mat with his food on. Usually he settles quickly and falls asleep…

Just want to make sure he’s not bored, he is fulfilled and having enough mental exercise. This is what I was advised but wanted advice from experienced Akita/akita x dogs!

Also added photos as a few wanted updates on how he grows..he’s definitely growing 😂 my fave photo of his judgey side eye on the second one!
