Should I go to the ER

Smoking: Yes

Current medications: none

Past medical issues: diagnosed Variocele, ulnar nerve decomp.

My left testicle began causing me pain late last night at around 1am but the pain was/is mild so going to sleep was possible. After careful consideration it seems like it isn't a testicular torsion since I've heard that the pain is unbearable.

I examined the left testicle this morning and it seems to be slightly swollen compared to the right one. Whenever I lift both with the palm of my hand, the left one settles at a higher point compared to the right one.

After feeling them with my fingers, it is obvious that the left one has slightly swelled.

The pain is mild and constant located in the left testicle and radiates around the area into the lower left hand side pelvic region. There are moments where I don't feel any pain for maybe an hour before it comes back sometimes with more rigor.

There is no discoloration visible.

My appointment with a urologist today was cancelled so I'm not sure whether I should book another one or wait until tomorrow.
