2017 Ford edge 2.0 turbo problems

Hey all, this is a long shot. I have a 2017 Ford edge with about 75k miles on it. I've had one specific problem I've been ignoring with it for some time now but just recently I have had a couple things pop up that were more concerning. for the last two to three days when starting the car (not all the time though) the car has felt shaky and I can watch the rpms fluctuate for maybe about 15 to 20 seconds before the shaking stops and everything else seems fine. then this morning when I started my car to go to work, it would not start. it had accessory power but every time I pressed the ignition it would make a "chunk" sound and not start. I ended up jumping it and it started albeit a bit slowly. now to jump back to the problem I've been experiencing intermittently for a while. Specifically after driving on the freeway for a few miles, after I get off and onto surface streets I have noticed a severe loss of power, to the point that I have a hard time getting up to 35mph. I can go a couple weeks without the power loss happening at all and sometimes it happens daily. I had the fleet mechanic at my job read the codes this morning after I got to work and it said that there was a misfire on cylinder 4 and a frequent problem with the waste gate solenoid causing the power loss. he also said the problem with not starting was likely the battery. he said I should change the battery, spark plugs and potentially the waste gate solenoid. I feel comfortable doing the first two but I'm not sure about the solenoid. I couldn't find that information online, closest I came was the turbo boost sensor.

should I be looking for a different part or would it be possible that I need to have the turbo repaired/replaced?

thank you for your time any suggestions appreciated
