Using Komoot for Recording a Ride? Not Preplanned?

Much as the title says, I'm wondering if it's possible to use it just to track a casual ride? I'm new to an ebike and while I do plan to go on specific trips but a lot of the time I just wanna toodle around.

But I'd like to have live mapping whilst I do, and I like the idea of having a little summary at the end. Is this something komoot can do?
