Early-stage exposure is messy, but that’s usually where the asymmetry comes from
If you look at how big commodity plays develop over time, they don’t start with certainty.
They start with early-stage exploration, where outcomes are still unclear.
That’s the phase NovaRed Mining is in.
They’re advancing a copper-gold project covering over 11,000 hectares, running multi-zone geophysical surveys to define what’s actually underground.
It’s not the cleanest stage to invest in.
But it’s often where the biggest percentage moves originate.
The stock already showed a glimpse of that:
roughly 0.05 CAD to over 1 CAD, about a 20x increase.
And that happened before any confirmed discovery.
Now the company is moving into a more structured phase.
Instead of just potential, they’re building data that will guide drilling decisions.
That’s when things start becoming more tangible.
Meanwhile, the macro backdrop continues to support the theme.
Copper demand tied to electrification, infrastructure, and energy systems is not going away anytime soon.
So positioning at this stage becomes less about certainty and more about exposure to potential outcomes.
It’s not about knowing exactly what will happen.
It’s about recognizing when the setup has room to expand if things go right.
And early-stage exploration is usually where that kind of asymmetry lives.
