Last Feb we "rescued" Frank from a trader joes. It was the first time I have had a rhizome style orchid with psudobulbs and the flower spray was epic. This Jan a friend gifted me the same style and coloring, now named Francesca. I call them 'The Twins'. I would also love to identify them.

Both have current root/psudobulb growth pushed tight up against the side of their posts, and I am daydreaming about finding an oval pot that is wide enough that I can plant them both of them on far oblong sides, pointing opposite growth directions (with space between them so they don't attach to each other), so they have room to grow and can be maintained in tandem.

1) is this a dumb idea?
2) when can I repot? (Francesca's blooms have dropped, but Franks just about to bloom - buds are starting to show color)
3) can I use the same orchid patting bark/medium I use on my phals?
4) any other advice? I have only repotted my phals once and these are def a different beast - I would love to make these plants happy.
