Intellectually attractive but emotionally unavailable?

I’ve known this guy for about 6 months now. He’s extremely intelligent and driven, and that’s what really attracted me.

But emotionally, he feels quite closed off—not expressive, doesn’t really talk about feelings, and when we’re not in touch, it can feel distant or almost emotionless.

The confusing part is, when we meet, we genuinely have a great time. So I’m trying to understand—is this something I’m overthinking, or is it a real gap?

Girls—what’s your experience with men like this? Do they actually open up over time, or am I just supposed to accept this and give it more time?
