Bluetooth / USB problems

So I'm going to bite my tongue and hold back any explicitives I feel so much like saying about this.

The frustration is real here.

The software in this car is not able to perform what I need.

My Bluetooth is not working optimally.

I can make calls fine with it however,  other apps don't work,  or will work somehow for one ride,  then when I stop and restart the vehicle,  nope.

Specifically,  I'm using this app called "Speechify" which uses text-to-speech software to read e-books and PDFs.

Unplugged from USB and with the car's Bluetooth off, I can hear it through my phones speaker which gets hard to hear over the sounds of driving.

One time Speechify worked, through Bluetooth or USB, don't know which was used, but then it stopped.

Using USB and AndoidAuto, from my phone I can use Spotify, SoundCloud, Suno etc...

Anyone know how to get anything other than these apps and calls over Bluetooth or USB?
