What I mean is a story where there’s no “Oh my God we gotta check for the blood” or “oh no your Maidenhead” like I understand that’s a thing people believed but also it’s not really a thing and I don’t think it needs to be written into every historical romance. That doesn’t mean the MMC can’t make her first time pleasurable or be gentle. It’s the other stuff I don’t need.
