We Matched Pt. 3

The update is finally here. I (F25) met up with him (M51) for lunch today. It was a quick lunch date that we had and we had a really productive conversation about a lot of things specifically how our breakup went and we were able to get into a very deep conversation he apologized for how it ended, and he also apologized and took accountability saying that it could’ve been handled better. It felt good the conversation and yes, you could feel tension, but it wasn’t sexual tension. It was more like very emotional at one point we just stared at each other and didn’t say anything and you can just feel that “I’m sorry” tears we’re filling up on his eyes and it was good. We talked about our current life situation as well.

I told him that I’m in a really good headspace and I was able to finally be in a good spot in my life and he was really happy for me to hear that and he wants to take me out again next week properly this time and he said that he has a birthday gift for me. There was no romance. I should add that too, like there was no kissing, no sexual tenstion, no flirting. It was legit like a two civil conversation that we had the only tension that you felt was not romantic. It was just a huge like emotional tension that even when we hugged to say goodbye, you can just feel like a weight fall off our shoulders like we needed to have this conversation. We also agreed to be friends as that is something we both need rn.
