I've noticed that AI-built apps usually die at exactly 10-20 users. Here is why.

Use cases

I've been working on a lot of AI implementations lately and there's a specific pattern I keep seeing.

Someone uses Cursor or Claude to "vibe-code" a prototype in 48 hours. It looks perfect. But then they launch, get their first few dozen customers, and everything breaks.

The issue is almost never the AI itself, it's the lack of "boring" stuff. No error handling, no logging to see why a prompt failed, and prompt chains that are so inefficient they kill the profit margins.

Is anyone else seeing this "MVP wall"? I feel like we're getting really good at building demos, but we're forgetting how to build actual software. How are you guys handling the transition from a "cool AI prototype" to something that actually stays up?
