Super fast processing

I found the timeline posts here very helpful so I wanted to share my 2 recent experiences in case it could help someone else.

My most recent passport was issued over 15 years ago and I’ve had two name changes since then (court order and marriage) so I had to fill out the DS11 form. I paid for expedited processing because I was worried the two name changes would cause issues.

3/24/26 — Submitted paperwork at USPS

4/6/26 — Arrived at processing center and marked “in process” (locator 35–Charleston, SC)

4/7/26 — Check processed

4/9/26 — Approved

Estimated delivery 4/15/26

My husband was able to renew online.

3/16/26 — Renewal submitted

4/6/26 — passport delivered
