Season 4 will not be a clean start, but continue established issues / struggles [spoilers]

I just wrote my thoughts in the episode 11 discussion thread and actually very happy to read they did take the renewal into account in writing this final season and present some of the things that we can expect. As in, it will not just be a big time jump where it’s all resolved once season 4 start and just presented with new problems, but actually continue existing issues. Gaby is a great example of this as her relationship with her sister and mother as well as Maya’s death in relationship to diving into trauma therapy will lead to obstacles, struggles that need to be dealt with and resolved. Also another is Paul’s Parkinsons and the possible return of Michael J Fox who said he’d be honored to return. Jimmy and his father also means Jeff Daniels is back.
