First time buying a ring need advice!

I'm planning to propose soon and I’ve never bought a ring before so I’m kinda lost please help me!!I know she likes simple classic styles, probably round or oval, nothing too pretentious but still really nice. Budget is around 8-10k total.I can’t decide if I should go in-store or just buy online. Also who do I buy from online? I saw Ritani mentioned here quite a times and I did find a couple rings I liked there

Main thing stressing me out is not seeing it in person first… like what if it looks different when it arrives.... Would really appreciate any advice from people who’ve gone through this, anything, thank you
