Is Lyca Mobile really THAT bad?

Been on Eir for pretty much the last 3, 4 years because it's been the only service provider that has reception where I live. My €20/28days unlimited data has changed to €20/days for 100mb of data (which is a fecking joke), so looking to move.

Having a look at service coverage, my options are:

• Stay with Eir and pay them €30/28 days for "unlimited" data,
• Move to Gomo for €15/month for life, or;
• Move to Lyca for €11/28 days for 12 months, after which it's 20/month.

Fuck me if I'm paying €30/month for Eir.
I like Gomo, but I'd prefer a pre-pay/PAYG arrangement, mortgage process and all that,
Which leaves Lyca, but I'm not reading a single good thing about them, and the reviews that are not criticizing them are average at best.

Is Lyca really as bad as the reviews, or are the people with good experiences just not speaking up?
