Advice on whether I should take Wellbutrin.

I was prescribed 150mg by my online psychiatrist and where I live I need an actual physical dr prescription to be able to get these types of meds.

One of my friends told me she had a bottle she hadn’t open but it’s 300mg xl.

I really want to take Wellbutrin I feel like I need it but i’m scared 300mg is too high of a dose and can give me horrible side effects even though I highly believe I am not prone to these side effects cause im not depressed and I was prescribed Wellbutrin for ADHD.

Anyways my question is did anyone start Wellbutrin at 300? Or did you have to gradually dose up? And also are you allowed to split Wellbutrin in half?
