PGWP approved with gap semester

Hi guys, hope you are all doing great!

I am writing this to give you some hope.

I submitted my request on june 27 and it has been approved today. They have given 3 years.

My story is complicated. I started my master in fall 2022 but couldn't finish it in 2 years bcz of a gap semester in the 2024 winter.

I had financial problems and couldn't pay in time. I received the money two days after the due date set by my uni.

I joined a letter to my application. And one day in november, I was scrolling on reddit reading the past posts about gap semesters and it freaked me out. I decided to send a more detailed letter with all the evidences.

I contacted my local MP about 2 months ago to see they can do something about the processing delay but nothing.

I decided to call IRCC myself more than two weeks ago and the agent told me she is gonna put notes on my file so that it can be processed quickly.

I started seeing updates about ten days ago.

All this to say don't lose hope. All is possible with the help of God.
