Real ID updated

I’m in CA and like many of you guys I got an email to update our Real ID to match our work permits time expiration.

My ead expires 06/2027 so I went to DMV and told them what I was doing but I wanted to keep my current license, not surrender it bc I have all my licenses since I was 16 so I said I got it stolen days prior. He said oh okay it’s okay so I had to pay $37. I asked him the if my new license will match my work permit expiration and he said yes.

Today I got my License is updated but still expires in 2029. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just wanted to share w you guys :)
