Thinking about upgrading to an XL but also curious about the demand for an XL in a big city.

As the title says my wife and I are thinking about upgrading one of our cars, the X I drive, to an XL. We are also considering moving from our small/medium sized town to a big city in another state. So I was hoping you XL drivers could give me a little incite into the demand for XLs in big cities.
