Anyone registered their business officially?

hi, have any of you gotten your small business registered?

if so, what kind (on what platform) and how was the process like? Would also love to know pros-cons, or what to be careful about.

im well aware that it is not a requirement and there is no need of a GST number, but I also feel registration would add to the legitimacy (and therefore more trust?)
