Any academy news?

There are a few rumours going around. Seems like clubs are sniffing around some of the Munster talent. Thats a good sign.

Ill take a stab at the intake.

I think there will be a hooker from Leinster (Handley or Maguire) and at least 1 more prop from outside the province. They'll probably go after one or two of Leinsters underage props.

There are 18 players in the academy currently. S Edogbo, BOC and Foxe are getting promoted. McSweeney, Hadden and Hicks look likely to leave also.

Theres about chance Barrett might skip the academy, depending on the interest. Saw somewhere that La Rochelle are sniffing around. Wood might get promoted also.

My prediction is a big intake because there will be opportunities in the coming seasons plus next years crop isn't great.
