I am 15 years old and Ill be graduating high school in 2027. I really want to major in music and sound engineering

I will graduate from highschool in 2027 and I will go to college in a few years. I am pretty new to everything but I know the basics of music theory and thats about it

I have been playing guitar for about a year now, and I have a bunch friends that do covers and make music and it made me want to start aswell

What are some things I should know? I thought I should start developing now to prepare for college and a career in music and audio. Any, tips, or advice would be super helpful.

Thank you in advance
