he chased me the left

I️ met this sweet guy in person and we had so much in common. he chased me as well. he got me gifts, brought over food when I️ was sick, picked me up from my friends parties, and planned very romantic dates around my interests.

he would talk about the future with me. he would make jokes about who will be the breadwinner. we had the same engineering job at different companies. we even had mutual friends.

we met organically at a bar. we hung out 3x a week for six weeks. he said it felt like a movie with me and I️ did nothing wrong, but left anyways because he said he’s not ready for a relationship for the next few years.
