Simic X Cost / +1 +1 Counters

After seeing the Quandrix precon coming out in the new Strixhaven set I decided I should try and optimize my Zegana, Utopian Speaker +1 +1 counters deck which has a secondary theme of cards with X in their mana cost. Its a fun deck I pull out for very casual games as its far from consistent but given the cards coming it seems like this mechanic will be getting a huge buff. Any recommendations for getting the game plan started a bit earlier or just increasing consistency in general?
