AITAH for banning Ipad notes from class?

I’m in my second semester studying physics right now, and we’ve had really inconsistent rules about cheat sheets for exams. Historically, everything had to be handwritten on an A4 sheet with a specific margin, but you could write on both sides.

Last semester there was a sudden change where we were allowed to use handwritten iPad notes printed out, and even LaTeX typesetting. (LaTeX is just a way to neatly write math formulas on a computer)

At the start of this semester, they said only handwritten notes would be allowed again, but iPad notes were still okay as they are handwritten. LaTeX got banned because it supposedly lets you write too small. I pointed out that you can do the exact same thing on an iPad, and that people without one are at a disadvantage since you can fit way more info onto an A4 sheet if you print it. I suggested maybe just setting a minimum font size for LaTeX instead.

I don’t own an iPad, and it honestly felt unfair, but I didn’t want to make things worse for anyone. Still, the final decision ended up being handwritten paper notes only.

Now I feel really bad because I never wanted it to get Ipad notes banned. Two people are really pissed at me since writing on an Ipad is way easier, but the others in my class has said anything, and my friends say I was right to bring it up, but I can’t shake the feeling that I should have just left it alone.
