Stuck on woosa awakening quest
So, I'm having an issue with the quest [Woosa Awakening] Fox's Gift II. I'm in the Hasrah Ancient Ruins. I get to this point in the quest where there are 2 pillars, blue and red. I go to the blue pillar and then a purple portal spawns in the middle. When go into the portal the screen turns black and then I'm just in the same spot. All the mobs in the ruins are spawned and my quest is reset. I've tried restarting my game and redid the quest 4 times. I looked up a video of the quest line, and it seems like the portal is supposed to bring me somewhere.
Also tried googling the issue and a bug does show up, but it's a bug that happens after you go through the portal. Idk if it matters, but I don't seem to have awakening unlocked yet.
I'm a returning player that has only played the game super casually in the past, so I'm not sure if this is a bug or I'm just doing something wrong.
